Fiona was very skinny and sick when she came to us as a stray. We have fattened her up and she is doing better, but she has a heart murmur and breathing problems that are probably a sign of congestive heart failure. She may not have a lot of time left, but we want her to spend the end of her life in a home, instead of a kennel. If you can give her a good home, the necessary fees include: 1) Adoption Fee $30 (covers initial vaccinations, flea/tick treatment and de-worming) Come by the shelter to see our other animals available for adoption. We make every attempt to do same day adoptions with a veterinarian and landlord reference. Due to VA Code we can not allow unaltered animals to be adopted outside of Warren and adjacent/bordering counties. If you live outside of these jurisdictions, your new pet must be spayed before going home with you or you may considering adopting a pet which has already been fixed.
