Max is a 1 1/2 year old cairn terrier/chihuahua mix. He is house and crate trained and is already neutered. He is good with some dogs and cats. Max is very sweet and friendly with people he knows, but will nip at strangers. He is great with the shelter staff, but will not allow new people to touch him at first. He will need a very patient adopter who can come visit him several times at the shelter and give him a chance to warm up before taking him home. If you can give Max a good home is adoption fee is $30 and covers initial vaccinations and deworming. Come by the shelter to see our other animals available for adoption.
